LostMouse.com has been recreated utilizing Joomla both as a demonstration of what can be done with Joomla and for making the site easier to manage. When I first created it five years ago, it was all custom programming with a very simple back-end. As I added more to the site over the years, it became more difficult and more time consuming to custom program the back-end to all of the features that I was adding. Eventually, I stopped updating the site since doing so became such a pain. Since deciding that I would focus on taking on clients, I knew I needed to overhaul the site. And what better way to do it than practice what I preach.
