Setup of Website Skeleton Sometimes it can be hard to know where to start. Lost Mouse will setup basic navigational structure and placeholder pages to get you started. You may request a particular site structure or have one chosen for you. You can always change it later. Installation of Critical Extensions Some things just are not included in the basic software. Luckily, there are extensions that will add critical functionality to your site. Extensions that will be installed include: website backup software, search engine optimization software, and advanced article editing software. Installation of Website Template The website template defines the look and feel of your website. Many free templates can be found on the Internet. They have excellent support, an intuitive control panel for your hosting account, and more disk space and bandwidth than most companies will ever need. One Year of Domain Name Registration If you decide that DreamHost is for you, they'll give you a domain name for free while you host with them. The domain name is yours and you can move it to a different company later if you like. Template DesignAlready Have a Template?Great! It will be installed with everything else. Customized "Off the Shelf" Website Template Can't find a free template that meets your needs? Then just send along an image or two, some colors you like, and describe what you want your website to do. Lost Mouse will work with your inputs, turn a bunch of knobs and flip the right of switches, and develop a professional looking template for you! Conversion of Past Website to a Template Happy with the design of your old web site? Lost Mouse can convert your old site design into a template so that you can have the look of your old web site, but with Joomla or Wordpress to manage content. Conversion of Design Mockup to a Template Do you already have a designer for your website? Just have them send along their design mockups in Adobe Photoshop format and Lost Mouse will create a website template to use with Joomla or Wordpress.
